Welcome to HantsLUG!

.. otherwise known as the Hampshire [Linux User Group].

We aim to encourage and support the use of Linux and other free operating systems. We do this in several ways:

• MailingList - where most activity happens. You can view the [archives] too
• Meetings - once per month alternating between Southampton and [SurreyUni]/[Nokia Farnborough]
• this Wiki website - which is a collaboration of many people's work
• IrcChannel (Internet Relay Chat)

There is no requirement to be in Hampshire to join, in fact about half of our members are from outside Hampshire.

Meetings

The next meetings are:

• Saturday 4thJuly2009. Location Southampton University. Please add yourself to the GreetingPeople list if you are able.
• Saturday 8th August. Location tbc. Joint meeting with Surrey LUG

There is no entrance fee to attend our meetings and no membership fee to be a member of the LUG, though we never turn down donations...
