I suspect that the fact is most people don't actually *ask* for their money back either because they assume they can't or
just can't be bothered. I fall into the former category (with a bit of the latter thrown in). I have two big name
computers that I bought in the last year. Each came with a Windows XP licence, neither of them were ever even booted, so I
never had the opportunity to accept or reject the licence. The first OS each booted was Linux.
