Well, they're just a competitive business. We may
not like their methods, but they have an obliga-
tion to their investors to make a profit.

This raises an interesting, more general question.
If software patents are not valid in the UK, would
MS have grounds to sue someone using patented code
here? Even if it's sufficiently grey that they
might try, would they want the test case?
