I thought it sounded like a good excuse to talk about how to make money out of
FOSS and how great google was. That said, it was a business program so what
do you expect?

It seemed to miss the User/Developer relationship, and the vastly reduced
release time (eg. MS 98 to XP to Vista against any Linux), which is a shame,
because that's a major part of the FOSS advantage.
