It depends what you want to do with them. DVDRAM are the most
reliable, but are normally expensive and don't work in many devices.
DVD+RW is the next most reliable for data.
We purchase Verbatim Datalife DVD+RW at work for backup purposes. Some
of the Verbatim Datalife DVD+RW range are guaranteed for 20 years.
If you wish to write to a DVD to play on a DVD player, the most
compatible media is DVD-R.
Modern DVD players can also read DVD+RW media, so DVD-R might not be necessary
