Yup, I'm thinking dual boot too now..

Like I say, the software is actually very good, it's just with things
as flashy looking as Microsoft Office, the company (Ashton Tate) went
out of business (or just stopped making it).

This isn't a bad idea, it'll require a bit of setting up, but it's
most likely to work! Also, I guess it's only really me who'd want it
virtualised/emulated as I like to be in two environments at once, I
guess my dad wouldn't mind in the slightest!
