I am having a problem running gftp (ftp client) on my web server, when I click
on the icon the gftp window appears and disappears in under a second (yes my
server has KDE installed, not everybody choice but it is mine :P ).
If I try running it from a console I get the following error
gFTP Warning: Skipping line 229 in config file: entropy_source
gFTP Warning: Skipping line 232 in config file: entropy_len
gFTP Warning: Skipping line 235 in config file: verify_ssl_peer
Error: Cairo does not yet support the requested image format:

Alpha mask: 0x00000000
Red mask: 0xffe00000
Green mask: 0x001ffc00
Blue mask: 0x000003ff
Please file an enhacement request (quoting the above) at:
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=cairo
gftp-gtk: /home/dajobe/dev/debian/cairo/cairo-1.2.4/src/cairo-image-surface.c:155:

The web server is running Debian etch and runs headless, I access it via
tightvnc across my home network. All other access to the server seems ok.
Any suggestions??
