I am running Kmail 1.9.3 which is part of KDE 3.5.3 on Mepis
There nothing wrong with NTL smtp as I am able to send via NTL on my PC
without a problem (which is exactly the same version etc. as the box with the
problems).
I am going to try setting up the account under thunderbird to see if that
works
