Subject: [Hampshire] [OT Tech] Testing HDD Partitioned as an LVM with badblocks (?) or other program

Advice, please! Ideally, I would like a non-destructive test for an HDD
partitioned as an LVM. Badblocks refuses to run (no partitions found), so
what next? (Other than hitting the **** HDD with a large hammer.)
