We did, but wanted a bit more time to verify our thoughts :-)
Basically the disk had an error which corrupted the filesystem journal
and caused the filesystem to be mounted read-only. We have a plan to
fix this but there is a chance the box might ask for confirmation
during the fsck so we are going to wait until tomorrow so that we
won't have an extended outage.
So, the box is up and running just fine, but anything which involves
_writing_ to the disk is going to fail.
