I just stumbled across this CNET blog, I wasn't aware of the large input
Novell have provided with regards to Kernel development!

There is some uncertainty surrounding the Open Source the Novell-Microsoft
pact announced in Nov 2006, a quick 'googling' reflects this and this was
the FAQ released at the time:

My limited experience of Novell marketing was a tad tainted, heard at the
end of a two day conference and before I was about to give a short talk.
However they were pretty thorough and to be honest I didn't understand the
product.
Interesting stats on the first link though and I wonder where will it all
lead?
