Hi all
Can someone remind me the name of that little "application" that used to say
something humorous / interesting when you login? I thought it was called
message of the day or motd but looking on my Ubuntu box, that just dumps the
contents of /var/run/motd out to the console on login.
It may have been discontinued - I'm sure the first time I saw it was back on
HP-UX many years ago.
