I can confirm this, as I was given an old 2.5 hard disk which I bought a cheap
USB external casing for only to find the drive was to thick. I had two 2.5
drives at the time one dead, one working and one of them was and IBM drive,
trouble is can't remember which one was the dead one and which was the
thicker one.
