It is also possible that someone else (via a neighbour) has bought
themselves a Wireless router and is using the same channel as yours.
Try switching channels I came upon the same problem a few months ago at
a friends. despite being in the same room as the access point we
couldn't connect.. It turned out that next door had just got their own
wireless that was on the same channel and caused enout interference that
nothing in either housed would connect.
Changing from channel 11 to channel 2 fixed it.
