Thanks to everyone for their kind comments and good wishes.

As for attending a LUG meet, that is just about a possibility as it
is _only_ 75 miles from where will be living (on the A30) near the
centre of Yeovil to the Uni, but it will need to be a special event
for me to do so. I am not getting any younger and driving is tiring
these days.
