BTW, I'll concede that Cobol has it's place even today.Not for me, though!

Binary via the front-panel switches if you don't mind.
Fortunately only the emergency bootloader.
Mostly we used bootable 8" floppy disks.
Thank goodness for memory sticks, eh? :-)
