Having looked on Google and found nothing posted on here then went back to
google and found the answer..........oh well!

It is to do with Gwenview, if you open it up click on settings >> configure
gwenview, towards the bottom of the page there is an option to empty cache on
exit, tick the box, then click apply. There is also the option to empty the
cache as well there and then.

I don't know if you have gwenview on your system but I have so we will see
what happens
