Hi All,
Having just rebuilt Ubuntu to make better use of my available disk space
(I nuked Windows as I no longer play games) I find that I now have a
desktop icon for '100.0 GB Media' which actually refers to /dev/sdb1,
which was configured in /etc/fstab after the reinstall was complete,
along with /dev/sdb2.
Curiously, /dev/sdb2 does not have a corresponding icon on the desktop,
despite having a similar entry within /etc/fstab:
I have found out how to make /all/ desktop drive icons disappear within
Gnome/Nautilus, but I cannot discover why /dev/sdb1 is being singled out
for special treatment amongst all of the other similarly configured
filesystems.
Any thoughts?
Sean
