[Hampshire] [hants] XP SP3 javascript broken ?

hello all,

Sorry about the windows question, but in this case there is no problem with Linux :-)

I'm getting reports of webpages (with javascript/css) failing, and its starting to look like M$ XP SP3 is the culprit.

Has anyone had problems with XP SP3 or Vista SP1 breaking websites ?

I commence my investigation this afternoon (after bangers n mash with gravy),
so anything to point me in good direction would be most appreciated.
