Hi folks,
Anyone know anything about sms.ac ?
Was showing someone how to find out what passwords were stored in
Firefox when I noticed about 8 or 10 for
www.sms.ac with passwords and
usernames consisting of her name (various combinations), mobile phone
number and and some passwords she uses on other sites.
Neither of us has ever heard of sms.ac and she swears she never went to
their site.
Wikipedia does not have much to say other than they were fined last year
for some dubious charges to mobile phones.
This was also a Windows machine so even though it has a virus scanner
and is kept up to date I am a little worried. It just looks too
suspicious to me.
Anyone know anything more, is this something to worry about?
