These things aren't very bright. You're getting tied up in its NAT.

I wouldn't try fighting the NAT; it'll end in disappointment.
The best solution I know to all this is to set up a nameserver inside your
LAN & create a specific "internal" view so that LAN clients get the LAN
address of the server. You can also set up an external view for WAN
clients if the mood takes you...
