thanks for that link Alan, it reminded me that I really must visit the
museum if only to look at any RAE staff magazines they may have.
My gt-uncle Alfred Thomas Cooper worked at RAE for many years in the
metallurgy lab, according to what I was told recently by an ex-RAE
Apprentice who knew my gt-uncle, I'd like to find some more details,
perhaps an obituary. I know he was serving in the RFC in 1918 and
possibly joined the fledgling RAF before joining RAE.
