[Hampshire] Lost Password and username

I installed MYSQL and Webmin onto my PC sometime ago for something I was trying.
Well since then I have not used either program but I now have an interest to
start using MYSQL and seemed to have lost the bit of paper that I had recorded
the details on. As I don't have any data I would be worried about losing, is it
simpler to do a complete uninstall of both programs and then reinstall both or
is it simpler to hack my way in and reset the users and passwords on both?
