Somewhere along the way the preview feature for flacs, oggs and wavs in
Nautilus file manageron Lucid i386 has stopped working.
All of the affected files play fine when opened in a media playing
application.
I've tweaked everything that can be tweaked in the preferences dialogue
and ~/.nautilus is an empty directory, although the issue appears to be
occurring at a higher level than a particular user, since logging in as
someone else I encounter the same thing.
A couple of suggestions from the forums point to using Totem and
Rythmbox having the sound on mute as the culprit, but i have checked
this and it doesn't seem to be the case.
Has anyone got any idea where I go to fix or re-enable it?
