Has anyone experimented with using a smart card and reader for authentication?
I'm sure somebody must have. I'm just starting to look into it and was
wondering where might be the best place to purchase a card from (not the
reader, I'm fairly confident with that, although suggestions won't be thrown
back!). I've been reading a bit and found there's a vast array of cards,
contactless, etc., but more imporantly things like programmable ones, PKI ones
and others. I think PKI is what I'd need, but any good references or anecdotes
would be welcome, or a good site to explain the differences :)
