If you use Ubuntu-Tweak which you can obtain from your package manager, you
can configure your installation for Libre Office, amongst other things.
Ubuntu will then replace Open Office with Libre Office. Libre Office is
likely to become the defacto standard for many distros.
This post is written with Outlook 2007 in Ubuntu 10.10 with the Macbuntu
desktop. I run the same setup on my Macbook Pro - really confuses MAC OSX
users.
