Indeed - it's not the first time I've seen Solaris complain during an
install. Years ago (circa 2000) I had my first taste of Solaris x86 and it
just refused point blank to notice another bog standard component (an ISA
NIC) which other OSs had handled fine.

Time for another OS methinks - shame really - I have something of a soft
spot for Solaris having used it at Uni.
