Good datacentre story: in one of our Mediterranean branches numerous boxes would crash out inexplicably at the same time each week.
In the end it was decided to put someone in the datacentre an hour or so before the event.
What he witnessed was a cleaner show up with a bucket and mop, power off the machines, slosh water all over the shop, mop it up and then power everything on again!
