Morning Vic

I don't know as both the wireless cards I have are cardbus ones and I
don't have any other cards to try out.

I had installed both firmware-free and firmware-non-free packages from
the debian. I had also tried using the XP windows drivers for the card
with ndiswrappers in the past.

To be honest it wasn't something I'd been too concerned about as I
didn't have a wireless network at home until this week, any mobile
computing I'd done had been with my EeePC which 'just worked out of
the box' after I'd installed DebianEeePC to replace the system it
came with (one of those with a 'simplified' interface).
