Hi Roger,

Sounds very familiar indeed. Unfortunately, I won't necessarily be able
to sit down and help necessarily given that I have a day job (in IT
consultancy) that's currently demanding a lot of hours out of me along
with a second business I run!

Can I just confirm that it's Windows 7 to Windows 10? If so, that
*should* generally "just work". That said, I suspect it'll be related
to security settings on the share and/or Windows 7 trying to use more
lax security than Windows 10. The other possible cause is that the
Windows 10 has been "joined" to Microsoft's Online account system (which
is, in effect, glorified active directory) and this could affect all
sorts of things. I've never tried accessing a share on an MS-Online
joined system.

I'll ping the boss an email at work today and see whether we can lend a
bit of time to this problem. These problems are outside of what we
generally do, but I'll see what he says.

Regards,

Chris
