The next Portsmouth and South East Hampshire Linux Users Group meeting
will be this coming Saturday, 20th October 2018 from 1pm to 6pm in the
Broad Oak Social Club, Hilsea. Talks start at 3pm.

Since it is International Repair day why not bring along a problem that will
breath new life into an old computer! I have a few lightning talks available if
anyone is interested - i.e. no slides, minimal preparation and a quick
demonstration!
1. A quick demo of the new Telegram channel so you can see if it is of interest.
2. A quick demo of converting old cassette tapes to mp3, ogg, or etc. using a
USB device an Audacity.
...which may lead on to...
3. Using Gerbera to share media - very quick to setup, but equally basic in
terms of interface; I would be interested in alternatives that are lightweight
and install alongside other services on an existing server.
Sandwiches, tech talk and excellent company guaranteed as usual, of course.
