Could be a simple loose connection, they can creep back and forth with time
and temperature, try unplugging and refitting the usual suspects. Otherwise
and more likely a failing capacitor somewhere, look for bulging or leaking
components, plenty of examples online.

Reminds me though, I have a comparable machine in the garden office that's
free to a good home. Was my nephew's 10 year old gaming rig, presented to
me as dead in the water and indeed I failed to get the original to boot.
Replaced the motherboard with a cheep Chinese number.

Original motherboard was an ASUS X99 Deluxe with Intel Core i7 5820K CPU
(6 core 12 thread @3.3GHz), replaced with no-name X99 mb with an Intel
Xeon E5-2620 v3 CPU (6 core 12 thread @2.4GHz), original CPU available.
16G DDR4 RAM.
MSi GeForce GTX 1660 Ti VENTUS XS 6G OC graphics engine.
250GB Samsung SSD
2TB Toshiba HDD
Note drives have approx 34,000 power up hours on them so should be
considered approaching EoL.
DVD-R
Monster Cooler Master case (60h x 25w x 55d) with Corsair CS750M PSU.

Currently has Gentoo installed but MX-linux dropped straight in when I
tried.

Collect from Kingsclere (North Hampshire) or I might be persuaded to
deliver in a small radius.
