Hi,

As you say, very odd.

I don't think you need dhcp on the BT router. It's the first thing I turn off when a new one arrives (I have a Pi doing DHCP and DNS). On the latest one I changed the IP subnet and had to set a valid DHCP range, even though it was disabled.

Have you had any new white goods recently? Our Samsung fridge has a WiFi AP, enabled by default, and the signal it generated swamped my real WiFi in the kitchen. Took me a while to work out how to turn it off!

Simon
