Subject: [Hampshire] Secure apt problems with Ubuntu Edgy
Afternoon all.

I'm having a strange problem with some Ubuntu Edgy
installations, and Google isn't suggesting an
answer.

The problem is with Secure apt, using either the
aptitude or apt-get interfaces. When updating,
files are downloaded but the following message is
produced:

W: GPG error: http://security.ubuntu.com
edgy-security Release: The following signatures
were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2

The source changes - sometimes it's security,
sometimes gb.archive.

So far, I've tried:
   - Switching to archive.ubuntu.com in
     sources.list.
   - Re-installing the ubuntu-keyring package.
   - Using apt-key del to remove all the current
keys, deleting the cached copy of ubuntu-
     keyring, and re-installing it.
None of these have helped.

Any ideas, please?

Nick.
