Subject: [Hampshire] Not very apt
Something's gone wrong on my media pc..not sure what, but I can't
apt-get update (or install a lot of things). Best way of explaining it
is this:

gantzgraf:/space/video/tv/the_wonder_years/season_1# apt-get update
Get: 1 http://non-us.debian.org stable/non-US Release.gpg [197B]
Hit http://non-us.debian.org stable/non-US Release
Get: 2 http://http.us.debian.org stable Release.gpg [189B]
Hit http://http.us.debian.org stable Release
Get: 3 http://security.debian.org stable/updates Release.gpg [189B]
Hit http://security.debian.org stable/updates Release
Err http://security.debian.org stable/updates Release

Get: 4 http://security.debian.org stable/updates Release [18.1kB]
Ign http://security.debian.org stable/updates Release
Ign http://security.debian.org stable/updates/main Packages/DiffIndex

W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old
ones used instead.

I tried:
gantzgraf:/space/video/tv/the_wonder_years/season_1# gpg --keyserver
wwwkeys.uk.pgp.net --recv-keys A70DAF536070D3A1
gpg: requesting key 6070D3A1 from hkp server wwwkeys.uk.pgp.net
gpg: key 6070D3A1: "Debian Archive Automatic Signing Key (4.0/etch)
<ftpmaster@???>" not changed
gpg: Total number processed: 1
gpg: unchanged: 1

It made no difference. My sources.list has the following entries:
deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian stable main contrib non-free
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org stable/updates main contrib non-free

Any suggestions?

Cheers,
John.
