Nope, it's not that.

I've sussed out that it's the encryption that's not working. If I turn it
off at the AP, everything works. Checking the event log, my confuser is
turning off the encryption key. That would explain things...

Now all I need to do is to work out why it's ignoring me when I give it a
key :-)
