Rob - I was misreading how the template works. Having looked again after
reading Tony's email, I see that I took the first page as being the only
complete one. And that is white on not very dark blue. But the third page,
once I interpret it correctly, is indeed yellow on black.

I'm afraid that I did (unconsciously) exactly what I often do. I shy off
reading things that are uncomfortable to read, and the first page is
unpleasant for me to read. Because of Tony's email I started again at the
end (the third slide) which has none of the painful background.

I stand corrected, and will simply close my eyes during the initial,
unimportant, title and first pages.
