Remember this: MS does not usually invent stuff - it takes existing
technology and terms and the perception engine that is MS marketing
have people believe that terms, ideas and concepts belong to MS.
Services is a *nix term. Daemons offer services.
*nix had /etc/services long before windows munged a
broken copy of the BSD tcp stack, wiping out third party
stack vendors who were needed for WFWG as MS did not provide
an IP stack -(
