works fine for the main repo, I was having problems getting an invocation
of the security line to work though. However after some further
investigation
deb
ftp://security.debian.org/debian-security etch/updates main contrib
seems to work ok.

Actually I wasn't even aware there was a man page for sources.list so I'll
have to remember that for the future.
