Hello, all.
I have a problem setting up my network adapter on a laptop running
Ubuntu Gutsy. I've got an ADSL ethernet modem, and when I'm trying to
connect it with the laptop, it doesn't actually get an IP from the
modem's DHCP server. If I try to assign the IP address manually, it
seems to pass packets to the modem (LAN led blinks if I ping), but
appears not to receive any responses. I tried the same thing with my
another laptop and it works fine.
The laptop is Compaq Presario V6150EA. The network chipset is Intel PRO/100.
Any ideas?
