[Hampshire] ADSL download speed and humble pie

Some while back there was a discussion on the lost of download values with
ADSL MAX. I maintained that I was getting very respectable speeds in spite
of turning my router off every night. I was getting speeds in the in the 5-7
Mb range. I sent data to corroborate this.

I have for a while now, for a totally unrelated reason, been leaving my router
on 24/7. Since 21-Feb-2007 09:08:53 my line rate has been an uninterrupted
8128.

I was wrong. :-(
