Not compared to a graphics card, no. Just ensure that it mirrors what
comes out in terms of [master|slave] configuration* and cabling, plug it
in and go.

* usually documented on the top of the drive itself in terms of where
the jumper(s) need to go, and very easy to do, although you may need
tweezers or needle nose pliers to physically move and replace the jumper.
