Why do you say that?
I worked for 4 years for a large equipment manufacturer who supplied
equipment to large telcos.
Both us and all our customers made the distinction I just made with
regard to DSL and Cable technologies. They are different technologies,
and so DSL should never be used to describe any sort of Cable Modem
device.
