Most people are at work during those times, or at least out of
the house.

Ditto, though mine is more than that. I have the Business 8000
option, which for me is 800Kb/upload and about 5.5Mb/download,
and no restrictions. I get SMTP email delivered to my box, and
my own domain names etc.
It has been more reliable than NTL was when I had NTL. NTL seem
to do a reasonable business solution these days (it's down to
about £40/month for something equivalent to what I have, though
their website is a bit vague on details).
