Then there's a problem with your network connectivity; I can ping it &
even connect to it, so NTL are not filtering by incoming IP address. That
means that either you can't connect to Orange (which I suspect you can),
or Orange can't/won't connect to NTL.

Contacting Orange might be the *slightly* better bet - but I wouldn't hold
my breath for either of them.

Is your NTL connection always on? If so, I'd just set up a static route
through that connection...
