The only time I used a UPS was with a similar model and I found it
far too noisy to have under the desk so gave up on it - just as well
by the sound of it.

Mine ended up at Jamies and since we don't have many problems with
power supply in this area, I can only remember one cut in the last
few years, I can get along without one. None of my systems are
set to reboot when power is restored so I can monitor the manual
reboot.
