Okay - the latest update! I really didn't want to use the EraseAll program.
Especially as the NSLU2-Linux.org welcome page explicitly advises NOT to run
it! However, I did a search on their archive for upgrade advise, and found
they suggested to power down, disconnect all drives and reboot, and
immediately try the upgrade. It worked a charm! It is now on 2.3 v63 and it
sees my NTFS drive.

I shall stop on this firmware for a short while to explore it before
upgrading at a later date.
