There's a BT service you can subscribe to (for free) that effectively
removes you from the list that cold-callers use. Unfortunately I have
forgotten how to enable it - it has been an age since we did it - but it
is worth the effort of find ing it out. We get perhaps one or two calls
a month from off-shore firms now, where we were getting called on a
daily basis prior to opting out.
