Its not as popular as it used to be but for people like me who prefer
functionality over looks its still a popular choice.

A look at the (palm) Treo group shows theres a healthy number of
people still using and enjoying it.

Ask on the Treo group on yahoogroup about database applications
as i don't use them. It does have docs to go that is compatible with
MS office programs don't know about access but certainly supports
excel.

The palm TX or palm E2 are current PDAs.
I have the palm Treo 680 that combines a phone and PDA altho
i do have a tungsten E2 as well.
