My practice has been to put the drive in a strong bag and hit it repeatedly
with a sledgehammer. Health and Safety? Hardly an issue, I'd have thought.

It beats me why anyone would want to try and retrieve data from the disc
fragments, but I wish them luck in their endeavours.
